About Us

Founded in 1895, Elmwood Franklin School offers a challenging, comprehensive academic program paired with a strong emphasis on citizenship and good character. Students from three years old through eighth grade are given the opportunity to learn and to lead in a nurturing, child-centered environment where curiosity is rewarded, risk-taking is encouraged, and challenging assumptions is expected. As a result, our students graduate as confident, resilient, independent thinkers.
